Conservatism vs. Liberalism – A Comparison

 

The goal of Conservatism is the achievement of the vision of the Founding Fathers of this nation, i.e.: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

 

Liberals, whether they admit it or not, desire a nation founded on the principals as detailed in Karl Marx’s “Das Kapital” – a.k.a., Marxist Communism; under which the rights of the individual are suppressed and only the State has rights.

 

Conservatives believe in building a new system or modifying an old one, with the cooperation of all the People in order to gain improvements and expand everyone’s right to self-determination; prospering or failing without interference or help from government.

 

Liberals seek to destroy an existing system, regardless of the benefits of that system; repressing the rights and desires of the People, even if it means the spilling of blood and the deaths of the opposition in order to establish a tyranny based upon socialism and huge government.

 

Please Consider :

Conservatives believe that they are entitled to the right of self-determination and the fruits of their labors.  

Liberals believe that they have the right to entitlements earned by others.

Conservatives believe in democracy, an economy based on capitalism, small government, and low taxes. 

Liberals believe in an economy based on big government, high taxes, and the redistribution of wealth.

Conservatives believe in truth, integrity, and fair play. 

Liberals believe that the end justifies the means and deception and dishonesty are legitimate tools to achieving their goals.

 Can these diametrically opposed systems be merged?  Not without Conservatives surrendering their rights and beliefs. 

Liberals are notoriously intolerant of those who do not accept their dogma and ideology.

Once Obama and the Democrat Congress, nearly, ruin this nation with their uncontrolled spending, high taxes, socialistic policies and stupidity, can Conservatives rebuild this nation?  Let us pray.  Oh, yes, Liberals don’t believe in prayer or God, either.
